SaaS application development for every kind of multi-user platform
Not every SaaS application is a subscription product sold to the public. We build customer-facing platforms, internal tools, and real-time multi-user systems with the same architectural discipline.
Four kinds of SaaS applications we build regularly
Customer-facing subscription products
The classic SaaS application: a product your customers pay a recurring fee to use, with self-serve onboarding, billing, and account management built in.
Internal platforms and B2E tools
Applications built for your own team or partner network — operations dashboards, internal workflow tools, and platforms that don't need public billing but do need the same reliability.
Real-time, multi-user applications
Applications where several users need to see the same live state at once — booking systems, live dashboards, session or venue management — built on real-time infrastructure, not page refreshes.
Data-heavy dashboards and reporting apps
Applications built around presenting complex operational or business data clearly, with the query performance to stay fast as your data volume grows.
What every application we build includes
- Responsive, accessible interfaces that work as well on a tablet on a warehouse floor as they do on a laptop
- Real-time updates via WebSockets where multiple users need to see the same live state
- Role-based access control so different user types see exactly what they should
- API design that supports your own future integrations, not just the initial feature set
- Performance budgets enforced from the first sprint, not fixed after launch complaints
What teams ask about SaaS application development
What's the difference between a 'SaaS application' and a 'SaaS product' on your site?
We use 'SaaS application' for the broader category of web-based, multi-user software — including internal tools and platforms that aren't sold externally. SaaS Product Development specifically covers building a commercial product you sell to customers. If you're not sure which applies, tell us on a discovery call and we'll point you to the right approach.
Can you build applications with real-time features, like live dashboards or session management?
Yes — this is a specific area of our experience. PlayDesk, a venue-management platform we built and operate ourselves, is built on a real-time Socket.io architecture so multiple screens stay in sync instantly. See the case study for the architecture detail.
Do you build internal tools, or only customer-facing products?
Both. Internal platforms and operational dashboards get the same architectural rigor as a customer-facing SaaS product — role-based access, proper data modeling, and a codebase your team can maintain after we hand it over.
How do you handle applications with a lot of concurrent users?
We design for your actual expected concurrency from the start — connection pooling, caching strategy, and infrastructure sizing are part of the architecture phase, not an afterthought once the application slows down.
Will the application work well on mobile devices?
Yes, by default. Responsive design is standard on every application we build, and if a native or React Native mobile app is a better fit for how your users actually work, we'll tell you and can build that too.
Building a customer-facing app, or an internal one?
Either way, a senior engineer will scope it properly on the first call.
