For founders building a commercial product

SaaS product development from idea to commercial product

Not a prototype, and not a proof of concept — a SaaS product built to acquire paying customers, support a sales process, and keep evolving after launch.

How We Approach It

Product development, not just feature delivery

A SaaS product succeeds or fails on decisions made before the first sprint — not just the code quality during it.

Product strategy before code

We help you decide what your v1 actually needs to prove — and what can wait until you have paying customers telling you what they'll pay more for.

Architecture that survives your roadmap

Multi-tenancy, billing, and auth designed for where your product is going in 18 months, not just where it is on launch day.

Built for iteration, not a one-time delivery

Feature flags, product analytics, and a codebase structured so your team — or ours, on retainer — can keep shipping after v1 without fighting the architecture.

A roadmap grounded in your business model

Seat-based, usage-based, or hybrid pricing changes what the product needs to track and expose from day one. We design the roadmap around your actual revenue model, not a generic feature list.

Process

From product strategy to a product customers pay for

01

Product Strategy & Scoping

We work through your target customer, competitive landscape, and revenue model to define what v1 needs to prove — and to cut everything that doesn't serve that.

02

Architecture & Design

Data model, API design, multi-tenancy strategy, and UI/UX for the core workflows — reviewed and approved by your team before development starts.

03

Build & Iterate

Two-week sprints with weekly demos. You see working product early and often, so course-correction happens in week four, not after a six-month build.

04

Launch & Post-Launch Iteration

Production deployment, monitoring, and a backlog process for the feature requests and edge cases that only show up once real customers are using the product.

Common Questions

What founders ask about building a SaaS product

How is SaaS Product Development different from SaaS MVP Development?

MVP development is deliberately narrow — the smallest version that validates your idea in 8–12 weeks. Product development assumes you're building the fuller commercial product, whether that's your first version or an evolution of a validated MVP, with a longer roadmap and more complete feature set.

We already have an MVP that worked. What comes next?

This is the most common transition we see — an MVP proves the idea, then needs to become a product that can support paying customers, sales conversations, and a roadmap. We assess your existing MVP's architecture honestly and tell you what can be extended versus what needs to be rebuilt before it can scale.

Do you help with pricing and packaging, or just the build?

We're engineers, not pricing consultants — but pricing model (seat-based, usage-based, tiered) has direct architectural implications for what the product needs to track and meter. We'll flag those implications and build the product to support whichever model you choose.

What if our product idea changes significantly mid-build?

That's normal in product development — we handle it with a written change order describing what's changing, what it costs, and how it affects the timeline. Nothing changes scope without your sign-off.

How involved do we need to be during the build?

As involved as you want, with a minimum of weekly demos where you give direction. Founders who want to review every decision can; founders who want to focus on sales and fundraising while we build can do that too.
